Aviary, the company we worked with to bring powerful and fun new photo editing tools to Kaptur, just blogged about us!
Check it out here for more details on how we integrated Aviary’s HTML5 Photo Editor into our site. Aviary’s tools are simple to use, fun, and work perfectly on the Kaptur platform. We couldn’t be happier.
We rolled out a number of exciting new features over the past week: a wizard that makes it easy to create a memory in seconds and a simple but powerful photo editing tool.
Using the wizard is delightfully simple: click “get started” on our landing page, then connect with Facebook. Select a date, the friends you were with, then pick any of your or your friends’ photos. Your memory has been captured! We’ve also included tips at every step. You can see each previous step, so it’s easy to go back and add more as you go.
We worked with a great company, Aviary, to bring you powerful and fun photo editing tools. You can now edit (crop, rotate, remove red-eye) photos on the fly and even add fun filters and effects (instant, toy camera, stickers, etc.). In the wizard you can edit the photo you select to be the album cover, or click on any photo in your memory and select “edit photo” from the light box.
Want to share your edited photos with all of your friends on Facebook? Select “save to Facebook” after you save your photo and it will be posted to your Facebook wall and put in an album where you can see all of the photos you edited on Kaptur.

There are buttons throughout your memory that allow you to Simply connect. If you would like to share your whole memory, simply select one of the Facebook, Email, or Twitter Icons on the left of your memory. an example of these icons are to the left.
If you’d rather just share a picture, Simply select the Picture from the carousel, and you have an option to share the picture through Email, Facebook, Direct Link. additionally, you can also print, and download the photo. 
Sharing with other Kapturites: from Summary on you memory page, There is an important setting, Privacy Settings, which enables you to change Who can view, and Who can Contribute to your Memory. 
Simply edit these setting through the drop down menu, and your now sharing your memory with those of your Choice. Now try it yourself
on your page because sharing is caring!!
