Engagement of the Living Dead

“We want to survive a zombie attack and then hug because we’re in love.” - Juliana Park

This was the theme that helped turn Juliana Park and Ben Lee into overnight internet sensations after they posted their engagement photos online.

Ben & Juliana wanted to put their personalities into their engagement photos and do something a little quirky; these certainly pulled together well. Juliana styled the shoot and did the makeup for the zombie, (and fellow CalArts alum) Jason Boesch, they grabbed a shovel from the garage and then headed out to have some fun.

Real Wedding Kaptur – Jenny + Jeffrey

Jenny Huang and Jeffrey Yam got married on June 10th, 2011 at Balboa Park, San Diego. What a lucky man Jeffrey is; Jenny looks gorgeous and the bridesmaids are so chic with their mix of black and red dresses.

Check out the Kaptur of their wedding here:

“Following a busy wedding season, Kaptur definitely helped us and our guests keep the momentum going. Jeff had several family and friends who wanted to see pictures right away, and short of forcing everyone to add each other on Facebook, or tagging the bride and groom in every picture, Kaptur is the best tool available for consolidating our favorite memories without the hassle. I must say, I had no idea that the professional photography and videography normally takes several months, making Kaptur pictures even more convenient and valuable in sharing our favorite candids, especially with our friends and relatives abroad.” – Jenny Huang

Kate Moss’s Rock n’ Roll Great Gatsby Wedding

Vogue’s September issue was released recently, and we LOVE the pictures of Kate Moss’s wedding also known as “Moss-stock”. Kate is always so effortlessly chic, so as you can imagine her wedding was no exception.

We have combined Mario Testino’s official photographs, Terry Richardson’s unofficial photographs, and Kate and Jamie’s first wedding dance song, ‘If there is something,’ from the first Roxy music album, to create the perfect wedding Kaptur:

The supermodel wed Jamie Hince, lead guitarist of The Kills, July 1st, 2011 with a rock n’ roll meets Great Gatsby theme. Kate’s vintage style dress was designed by close friend John Galliano and her shoes were Manolo Blahnik with a blue insole to stand for her ‘something blue’.

Among the guests were Jude Law and ex-wife Sadie Frost, supermodel Naomi Campbell, designer Stella McCartney, and Kelly Osbourne.

Game, Set and Love Match

All of us are excited about opening day of the US Open next week. Of course, we’re not alone: introducing Jessica and Steven Nelson, a perfect love match. This sporty couple served up some lovely tennis touches when they tied the knot on September 4th, 2010.

Jessica and Steven, both from tennis enthusiast families, were practically born with rackets in their hands. When they joined Iowa State University Tennis Club, it was clear they had met their match. Two years later, Jessica and Steven were watching Iowa State compete when Steven suggested they take the opportunity to play on the large stadium court. As they made their way down the steps, in the center of the court sat a vase of roses. Jessica knew what they meant and began to tear up.

“He told me how much he loved me and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and that he wanted to make me as happy as I make him,” Jessica said, recalling the moment. “Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said ‘yes’, and we hugged and kissed and then he put a very beautiful ring on my finger!”
